  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;

Efekty uczenia się:

Knowledge

Student explains the origin of horses, describes the kind of Equus and distinguish its subtypes, lists and characterizes the most important race horses bred in Poland and in the world

Student defines the characteristics of horses affecting their usability, indicates directions for use of horses and describes the types of utility

Student sets out the principles of breeding, describes methods for assessing horses and explains the genetic determinants of selected features

Student explains the basic concepts associated with reproduction, growth of foals, clarifies the rearing, feeding and care, identifies the forms of behavior of horses

Skills

Student analyzes and interprets the requirements of horses in terms of space and nutrition taking into account breed, age and sex of the horse, the climate and natural features of the site, system maintenance, type of facility, the manner of use

Student apply the principles of behavior of the horse, uses elements of psychology in the handling of the horse and its care

Student prepares written, graphic and point evaluation of conformation taking into consideration defect structure and attitude, takes body measurements and calculated indices conformation, assess the age of the horses on the appearance of the teeth and carry identification in accordance with existing requirements

Student presents the construction of harness and horse-drawn vehicles, bridles, saddles, equestrian sport as specific use of horses

Student interprets zootechnical aspects of the breeding of horses using the principles of work-based culture stud books, records and documentation of breeding

Student himself develops and executes design elements the breeding based on individually assigned assumptions

Social competence

Student is aware of the responsibility for decisions concerning the professional Arabian horse breeding

Student shows determination in the assimilation of a very detailed knowledge, understand its relevance to practice

Student has the ability to solving problems related to the implementation of design and actually sees the relationship between science and practice in this area
