(tylko po angielsku) Lectures 1. Importance, chemical composition, development, status and perspectives of non-traditional and spice vegetable crops production. Nutrition and biological significance of spice vegetables. /1 hour/ 2. Rare fruit development non-traditional and spice vegetable crops – red grind pepper (Capsicum annuum L.), cape-gooseberry (Physalis peruviana L.), lima beans (Phaseolus lunatus L.), okra (Abelmoshud esculentus Moench.), sponge gourd (Luffa cylindrical R.), calabash gorud (Laginaria vulgaris Ser.), different species, variety and forms from gender shuash (Cucurbita,) ,chayote (Sheium edules Jacq.). Origin, distribution, economic importance. Requirements to environmental conditions. Propagation. Technological of growth. Harvesting, processing, edible and usable part, storage. /3 hours/ 3. Rare leaf vegetable crops - rucola (arugula) (Eruca sativa Mill.), garden orache (Atriplex hortensis L.), watercress (Nasturcium officinale W.T. Aiton.) great nettle (Urtica dioica L.), rions tooth (Tarcsacum officinale Webber, fennel (Foenicum vulgare L.) Origin, distribution, economic importance. Requirements to environmental conditions. Spice vegetable crops – savory (Saturea hortensis L.), spearmint (Menta viridis L.), , ramsons (Allium ursinum L.), sweet basil (Osimum basilicum L.), lovage (Levisticum officinale W.D.J.Koch), rosemary (Rosmarinum officinalis L.), sweet trefoil (Trigonela caerulea Ser.).
