Pełny opis: |
1. An overview of selected terrestrial animals of Europe, their importance in the environment, interactions with humans. 2. Current population status of selected species: distribution, abundance, trends. Endangered species. Alien species. 3. Functioning of animal populations in the environment: diversity of habitat requirements. 4. Functioning of animal populations in the environment: changes at the landscape and habitat patch level. 5. Threats, anthropogenic environmental changes, species exterminations. 6. Methods of animal protection and management of their populations. 1. Conservation plan I: protection on a regional scale: designation of a network of protected areas, application of various forms of protection. 2. Conservation plan II: elements of the zoning plan, including designation of areas excluded from investments, compensation planning. 3. Designing of vegetation and infrastructure enabling animals to live in forest environments. 4. Designing of vegetation and infrastructure enabling animals to live in urbanized environments. 5. Ecological corridors planning. 6. Population management plan. |
