(tylko po angielsku) The main objective of the course is to understand the morphology and anatomy of aquatic invertebrates as well as the interactions between the aquatic environment and these organisms. Lab practicals will focus on presenting the most common aquatic invertebrate species in inland waters and the methods of their sampling and identification, especially in the light of their role as fish natural food. |

(tylko po angielsku) Knowledge The student has an extended knowledge of systematics, morphology and anatomy of protozoans and invertebrates The student has knowledge of biotic and abiotic characteristics of inland waters The student knows the methods of production of aquatic invertebrates as a fish food Skills The student can identify major aquatic invertebrates present in inland waters The student uses an proper equipment for sampling and observation of aquatic invertebrates Social competences The student understands the need of learning throughout his life The student is conscious of his responsibility for social, professional and ethical responsibility for the state of water environment |
Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
(tylko po angielsku) Student gets a positive grade after completion of course on the basis of the following criteria: Laboratory practicals: Multiple choice tests and evaluation of student skills and activity, Lectures: Multiple choice test In order to get a positive grade a student must gain the following percentage of positive answers: Grade E (3.0) - 55-60% of total number of answers, Grade D (3.5) - 61-70% of total number of answers, Grade C (4.0) - 71-80% of total number of answers, Grade B (4.5) - 81-90% of total number of answers, Grade A (5.0) - above 90% of total number of answers. |
